Word of the Day: Veisalgia

veisalgia (n.): hangover
This word is from the Norwegian kveis, meaning “uneasiness following debauchery,” and the Greek algia, meaning pain. I hate this word.

can you use it like… ‘i am not prone to veisalgia’? or ‘when i woke up in the morning i was not particularly veisalgic’? …vagina?
More the former than the latter, I think, but seeing as it’s pretty much a neologism anyway, sure, use it however the hell you want.
