A brilliant notion!

I just had the greatest idea. I’m going to start a journal where I can jot down whatever sort of thoughts, musings, and ramblings happen to cross my mind that day. It seems like a good, wholesome thing to do — and useful, too, considering that my gradual decline into alcoholism has been accompanied by remarkably consistent memory loss in both the short- and long-term realms.
Furthermore, considering that I’m a smart guy with a voracious love of knowledge and an insatiable curiosity, I’m willing to bet that somebody other than myself might be interested in reading a journal like that. Especially if I noted down various interesting tidbits that I had learned, discovered, or hypothesized about, the unique 21st century community of populist literati might be fascinated to see. Or at least, a handful of my close and arms-length associates.
I should put this journal on the Internet. I should even give it a catchy name. It’s like a log of my thoughts and insights, only on the web rather than in, I don’t know, a logbook or whatever. A web log? Note to self: revise moniker later — shorten?
